Illustration Friday - Free
Hi all...
This week, I was walking downtown when I noticed a pair of men's underwear on the sidewalk. Have you ever seen this before? (This was not my first time). I always wonder what the story is behind why they are there.
Another good story would be "Where did they end up?" This was my idea behind this week's Illustration Friday topic, "Free".

Excellent illustration and funny explanation. I haven't seen underwear, but i do see abandoned shoes quite often. I wonder if there's some kind of secret cult out there littering the country with shoes who calles themselves "Souls Across America". I guess your would be "America in Brief" or something like that.

hilarious - because its so true. maybe the underwear sneek off in the middle of the night because they just want to be...free!
Hey thanks everyone for the comments! I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one who has experienced this strange occurrence.
In terms of the actual execution of the illustration, I’m not super happy with it. The underwear doesn’t “pop” enough, the composition is not that strong, the pattern on the gift is not visible enough, the woman’s “knee-high” stockings are not apparent, and the whole thing may be a bit too dark in terms of colour. Perhaps I will go back into it soon and fix these problems.
