Illustration Friday - Surprise

Hi everyone,

For this week’s Illustration Friday topic, “Surprise”, I knew I didn’t want to show the exact moment when someone was taken aback. Rather, I wanted to illustrate either the anticipation of a surprise or maybe the result of a surprise.

Since this is a time of year when many people get engaged, I thought of a man about to surprise someone with a proposal.

Illustration Friday - Blue

Hello everyone,

Below is my contribution to Illustration Friday’s topic “Blue”. While I had no clear idea regarding content, I knew right off the bat I didn’t want to use much of the colour blue in the piece.

My answer came while getting a Super Big Gulp. Two little girls were in the back of a car drinking Slurpees (despite the fact it was freezing cold outside), showing each other their coloured tongues. Ha ha.
